Welcome to Midway School, where we encourage and celebrate high academic achievements for all students. We are a small single school/district with approximately 66 students from Transitional Kindergarten through Eighth grade. We are located in Fellows, California, with a proud, hard-working rural community on the west end of Kern County. We have over a hundred years of history with a beautiful, safe campus.

Midway's small-school setting allows for reduced class sizes and individual attention for all students. Our students participate in academic, athletic, and social events with other similarly sized schools throughout the school year. In addition, all students participate in a variety of grade-level field trips to enhance their educational experience. We also have a strong accountability program (TIGER Way) that encourages all students to meet high expectations with built-in recognition and rewards.

We are fortunate to have many experienced and knowledgeable teachers/staff eager to make a positive impact on our students. We believe in a student-centered approach, which offers a setting in which a child's social, emotional, and intellectual needs are equally important. We are incredibly proud that all staff members contribute to making our wonderful "small school on the hill" the best that it can be.
