Parent & Community Involvement
We want to thank our community for standing behind our school and providing us with so much support. Our School Site Council (SSC) includes parents who represent a variety of school groups. The SSC approves our school's annual plan and some budget items. Volunteers, students, and teachers run our Renaissance program and prepare our gym for rallies. Parents help in the classroom and on field trips. They are critical for the success of activites such as dances, yearbook, the eight grade spagghetti dinner, snack bars, the canned food drive, Wish Tree, bake sales, and Read Across America.
We would like to especially thank our community for their incredible support for our annual Fall Carnival we had in September. We all had a great time and raised $1,174 for the Renaissance Program. Currently, parents are beginning to organize the Renaissance Rally that's coming up on November 2nd. Thank You for all you efforts!
